MAMBO RESTAURANT AND BEACH BAR

With a location second to none, right on the beach in the village of Bali, Mambo Restaurant and Beach Bar is a haven speaking the language of holiday pleasures. This laid-back beach bar, overlooking a sandy cove, invites you to sip your favourite cocktail, catch the sea breeze beaming off the calm waters whilst sunbathing on a deck chair, and dip your toes into the crystal clear water. Open from early morning until late at night, the menu comprises of a variety of refreshing drinks, fruit juices, milkshakes, coffee and bites, nibbles, and more brimming with modern Greek flavours. If gazing at the view does not keep you tied to your chair, there are also pool and table soccer tables nearby.

BEACH & POOLS

If spending sunny days lazing away on a beach, sipping cocktails, and taking a dip in the turquoise waters is your idea of the ultimate holiday, Bali Crete is ready to welcome you.

Closest to Bali Star Resort Hotel you will find Varkotopos Beach, at the foot of a steep hill in a sheltered cove. This small sandy beach with its clear, calm and blue shallow water is perfect for families and also home to an inflated water park and our Mambos Beach Bar.

Livadi Beach is the biggest beach in the village offering ample space to relax and plenty of water sport activities. You can go snorkel, stroll along the promenade, grab a bite at a nearby taverna, and have an adrenaline rush at the water sports centre with its banana boats, flyboards and jet skis.

Limani Beach – also known as Harbour Beach – is in the centre of the village, bordered by the harbour and surrounded by bars and tavernas. The shallow and calm water offers family fun and a small water sports programme.

Mythos Beach – often dubbed the secret beach of Bali – is small and narrow, but invites you to soak up the sun while Karavostasi Beach is the northernmost beach, a short walk from the harbour. This calm and sublime sheltered spot, between dramatic cliffs, is ideal for snorkelling.

Step away from the beach and cool down in our freshwater pool, the centre point of Bali Start Resort Hotel. There’s also a kiddie’s pool extension, ensuring fun for the whole family in a safe and relaxing atmosphere, deck chairs and a pool bar offering refreshing drinks.

WATER ACTIVITIES

Apart from Bali’s beaches being ideal for swimming and sunbathing, you can also rent several water sports equipment from pedal boats and canoes to water skis, SUPs and flyboards. There is also an accredited diving school; divers can look forward to exploring the wonders of the underwater world, and even nocturnal marine life such seahorses, octopuses, moray eels and pieces of broken amphorae and ancient anchors.
